Whitecaps reach first MLS Cup final in team history with win over San Diego FC

The Vancouver Whitecaps are one win away from finishing off a dream season.

Brian White had a pair of goals in the first half as the Whitecaps earned a 3-1 victory over San Diego FC.

The Whitecaps are off to the MLS Cup final as they look for their first league championship since joining in 2011.

Standing in their way are Lionel Messi and Inter Miami who took care of New York City FC 5-1 to capture their first Eastern Conference title.

More to come.
